How to register IMEI Number of your Smartphone Online in Nepal[2021]

 

Nepal telecommunications Authority (NTA) announce that after Sarwan 1/ 2078 smartphone which IMEI number  are not registered in (NTA) will be defunctional. Mobile which are not bought from the Nepal which are imported outside the countrty will not be able to function in Nepal, if it is not registered in Nepal telecommunications Authority (NTA). 

 

NTA is taking action because to reduce import of smartphone from Gray market. 

So, it is very important to register your smartphone  IMEI Number 

 

 How to register IMEI number of your Phone? 

However, NTA  has already open with a new site for the registration of smartphone IMEI number where you can easily register it. 

Follow this steps to register your smartphone :

Step 1:

Find your smartphone IMEI number  by dialing  *#06#  in dail keypad and copy that number  Or you can find IMEI number in setting ><about phone. 

Step 2:

Go to Google Chrome and search 

NTA registration or click here NTA registration 

Step3:

Before sign up click on know your device.

Then write your IMEI number of your Phone. As in the picture below :

           Note: If your device is registered.             then you don't have to registed again 

        If not then follow another steps. 

Step 4:

Sign-up with your email and password. 

And choose individual application as in the picture below :

Step 5:

  

After signing up now full fill the following information as required in the form. 

Like name, IMEI number 

Model number ,brand name,id number, Id file and email address 

Then press submit as in the picture :

Now your are done with registration your documents will be send to another department.

Registration of smartphone IMEI number will be very helpful when it lost.it will help you to track your device after you lost it.
