CG net offer only 15MBps not 120MBps,why? Mbps Vs MBps reality of Nepali ISPs

 

CG net recently announce their net offer which is 120mbps at just Rs.999.This is very chipest net paln in Nepal Till date. It's coverage area is only Kathmandu. It takes time to provide it's services to all over the country. I hope you are also so excited to use these plans as like me. 

 

As we all know that it provde 120mbps net speed but the real speed will be only 15MBps when we download or Upload some files 

Why only 15MBps not 120Mbps?

To understand that we must know about the difference between Mbps and MBps. 

The speed will be 120Mbps not 120MBps.

Now,  you may Think why I said 120Mbps then not 120MBps.

Here is the main difference I said the speed will be 120Mbps. Here the b is in small letter. If the speed will be 120Mbps  it means 8 times more speed.

There is a different of capital B and small b.

Here is the real meaning 

Mbps=magabit

MBps=magabyts

1MBps=8Mbps

120Mbps=15MBps

Mbps stand for megabit per second.MBps stand for megabits per second. The two terms are similar but Mbps is used to specify the connection speed of internet whereas, MBps used to specify how much megabytes per second the file is upload or download. 

So, if you use CG net the real upload and download speed is 15MBps Not 120MBps.

Don't be confused between Mbps and MBps.
